Direct mail campaigns can be a great way to target individuals and businesses who you feel might benefit from your products or services.
As with other types of targeted marketing campaigns, postcards, for example, can be sent out to specific audience targets by demographic categories such as age, income, location, or household size.
This can be a great way to reach out to people in your neighborhood and surrounding areas to increase brand awareness, offer specials, and get people to visit your brick and mortar location.
What to Expect
We typically use the content developed and route determined during your Direct Mail Campaign Content project to create the campaign design. (Our campaigns are based on mail routes, so a specific list of addresses is not required.)
Our focus is to ensure that the final campaign design meets your needs, and accurately represents your brand and project goals.
Our graphic design team is experienced in the print design workflow, including formatting for print, font management, image and graphics optimization, and preflighting files for printing. Our team can correspond with your print vendor directly, upon request.
The final deliverable for this project is a professionally designed, eye-catching, print-ready mailpiece that is in accordance with the specifications for the USPS.
Professional design can make all the difference when it comes to direct mailers.
By presenting prospective clients with a beautiful representation of your business that includes subtle calls to action, you can use your direct mailer to increase brand awareness as well as generate leads.
Entice new and current clientele with new offerings, seasonal sales, or discounts on current and future goods or services. With a targeted campaign, reach the audience that matters most for a successful ROI.
Having multiple campaigns promoting the same products, services, or events can increase the performance of this project. Aligning your other marketing efforts with this effort can also increase the performance of this project.
Note that this project will also involve printing costs to print the mailers as well as shipping costs with the USPS; our team can estimate costs for you at the beginning of this project.

Our team will execute this project in defined phases and we will keep you updated on progress within each phase of development, giving you the ability to provide feedback, direction or collaborate with our team throughout every step of the process.
1) Access Coordination and Strategy
During this initial phase, our team reviews your Member Profile and the project details.
We review the campaign content, which will either be provided by you or our team, to ensure that it has been finalized and is ready for layout.
We will confirm mailpiece specifications and any special requirements for the mailpiece during the first phase. If print vendor correspondence is requested, those contact details will be confirmed as well.
2) Initial Project Approach
During the next phase, we begin drafting the design layout.
We may provide you with a sneak peek of the design.
3) Project Presentation
Our team will finalize the campaign design according to the USPS’s specifications, ensuring the campaign has all of the requested content. Most campaigns will have a front and back design.
Once finalized, we present the initial campaign drafts, giving you an opportunity to provide feedback.
4) Project Closure Plan
Once you have had time to review the campaign design, we carry out any requested changes, finalize the design, and present the final draft to you.
With the final draft, we will provide you with the final files for printing and shipping. The final files will be preflighted, exported, and packaged with necessary fonts and support files.
- Coordinate campaign content, vendor contact details, campaign specifications, and other details before beginning the design.
- Choose a design layout (as it relates to the content) before determining the specifics of the design.
- Leave yourself time to make design updates before finalizing the project and submitting it to the print vendor. Try to avoid last-minute submissions because the vendor may have further requests.
Our team works as a fluid extension of each of our member’s businesses by developing strategies and executing projects in whatever capacity is best for their unique needs.
